Three tips on things that sellers often forget about before they list.

There are always a few things that most sellers forget to check prior to listing their home on the market. These may come into play down the road when you're entering into the inspection phase or the due diligence phase of your contract. Here are three tips for you:

  1. Change your light bulbs. Surprisingly, some people forget that they have a light bulb out somewhere in the house. Go around the house and ensure that all the light bulbs are working properly.
  1. Check the drains. We all have these pesky drain sinks that don't drain properly. Go around and make sure your sinks and tubs are draining properly.
  1. Change your filter. Ensure that your air return filters have been changed. Additionally, clean your return and check your vents to make sure they're free of dust and debris.

I hope you find these tips useful. For all things real estate, reach out to me by phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you.
